Default Floorboard Extension

I have a 2018 Utlra Limited and have been looking at floorboard extensions or relocation brackets. I would like to move the floorboards out more to the side. Is it better to use the relocation kit or just the extensions? Thanks

Extensions give you an option of 3/4 inch or more depending on who you buy from, had them on the last 3 bikes I have owned. I buy on amazon. The last set was 35 bucks or so for my 19 FLTRU

I did both. I used the spacers that move them out an inch. Can’t remember who makes them. And I also used the Kuryakyn brackets that move them out an inch and forward and inch. Worked great for me and provided lots of extra room for my long legs.

1+ on VtwinGoodies extensions! I used these on my last 4 bikes, and they are normally the first thing I do when I get a new bike.

Do you feel the 1 1/4" makes your turn leans more limited due to scraping or is this all psychobabble? Plus does it cause any issues with your finding the kickstand? Thanks

Have not had any issues scraping the boards and I've been at Daytona all week riding pretty hard. No issues with the kickstand either. If you push hard on an on/off ramp, yeah you could make it drag but it had not been an issue at all for me.....so far anyway
