Update: adjusted clutch and no longer slipping at high rpms and is smooth like new. Thanks for the advise fellas much appreciated.

You don't have a hyd clutch, glad you got it fixed, but you need to know what you're doing before you really screw things up. Ask for advice before you do something, not afterwards.

Didn't mean to say hydraulic clutch earlier not really sure why that was on my mind. Meant to say the transmission side cover. I've been working on my Motocross bikes before so for this being my first Street bike there are a few different things I'm trying to get used to while working on it. I always try to work on things myself unless I know I'll really screw something up if done incorrectly and cost myself alot of $. Thanks for your tips today.
