Can anyone recommend a shop in Southeast Michigan for engine work and tuning? After some of the stories you hear and read about poor work, I'm hesitant to just pick something out of the phone book.
I'm from SE Michigan, I took my bike to Fuel Moto. A nice ride! Also consider Dragos Bike Works, they're possibly a bit closer in Illinois, also reputable. Cant go wrong with either.
Ignore anything downriver. +1 on using Fuelmoto. I'm in Monroe county and I'd make a weekend trip out of taking my bike to FM. Their highly recommended all over the community.
Heck if I lived that close to Fuel Moto it would be a no brainer. I have travelled from PA to Little Chute WI. twice to have them do work on my bikes. It was a pleasure working with Jamie and the gang, I highly recommend as others have, and would do it again.

I'm traveling to FuelMoto from Cincinnati at the end of May to have their 124" Stage 4 kit installed on my 2019 Road King. I don't think you can go wrong with them.
I've been to Fuel Moto a couple times now and I live over 1000 away. It's a fun summer vacation trip but if too far away? Uhaul has these perfect trailers that are very cheap. They are not enclosed, but have a Vslot that is specifically for a motorcycle and the front is splash guarded. Made my first trip mid winter a breeze. If there is a will there is a way. FYI Don't get the uhaul specific motorcycle trailer. It's to short. Get the 5x9 Utility Trailer Rental with Ramp. Make sure it has the from tire V. It's so easy to tow and has many tie down points. Best money spent. Fuel Moto and the trailer.
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I think I will be looking toward Fuel Moto for the work. Special thanks to Rintin for the trailer recommendation, that will be especially helpful.

I think a solid decision. There isn't anyone on this forum that will steer you away from Fuel Moto.. Well except a competitor. But you get that. Good luck and enjoy your ride after all your mods!!
