Default Road Glide compartment lids

Anyone have the annoying rattle from the lids covering the side compartments on the inner fairing? My left one rattles pretty good, and was wondering about a solution to this. Not sure there is a flat enough surface for some felt tape or disks. Any ideas?

Haven’t heard of that issue. I wonder if the mechanism that closes it is broken. What keeps it closed? A spring? Hmm

I think its some sort of spring, but honestly I havent looked at it close enough. lol I thought surely I'm not the first/only person to have this thing start rattling.

My left side door rattles, but I hardly ever notice except while idling in my driveway just before takeoff. I can get it to stop temporarily by jiggling it, or opening and closing it. It just doesn't bother me at all. And that's weird because I am usually obsessed with rattles. I suppose if I noticed it at cruising speed, or any other speed, then I'd be about fixing it.
