change cam on SE stage 3
Just wondering if any of you mechanics know if theres a different cam for stage 3 that would produce better torque at lower rpm? Runs great but don't need power after I am past the car. Also would a change like that void ESP warranty? This is on 2017 road king. Factory warranty is expired.

There are better options but if your esp is through HD changing the cam to an aftermarket would impact your warranty. You could go to the HD stage 2 torque cam in the stage 3 and run the HD auto tuner. I was thinking of going Stage 4 with the stage 2 cam in my ‘17 before I traded. Dealer called HD and they said as long as everything was still HD parts and epa compliant it would not impact my HD esp.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.

Is there a point of even doing the Stage 3 if you want to use an aftermarket cam and tuner?
Asking b/c im at a cross roads.
I'm currently looking to do a Stage 2 Aftermarket Cam most likely Redshift RS468 with PV Tune and then Dyno Tuned.
I already have a Stage 1 consisting of Rinehart 4" slip ons with Slimline Duals , SE Ventilator and Powervision tune.. Its a 2017 RKS and warranty is pretty much up regardless. So if I did a Stage 3 I would still go aftermarket tune and Cam...
I guess my real question is Is there enough gain there to warrant the extra cost? and would you go with the Harley Stage 3 set up ? Seems with all the Sumping issues a stage 2 aftermarket cam would be the safer bet??
I was primarily going with the Stage 2 Redshift cam for the additional lope and some low end torque and it would be a plus for rides when my wife is riding with me.
It may be all I need.

If your stage 111 was done right it includes, pipes, breather, high lift cams with increased clearance dual valve springs, high compression pistons,114 barrels and a tuner. If this is not significantly and aggressively powerful in H P and torque, across the 1800 to 5500 rev band something is missing? No way in hell could a stage 11 cam give more of anything by itself.
