Default Fuel Moto ventilator

Got my Fuel Moto ventilator today. Pretty sweet little unit, the bike definitely feels stronger with this over the regular ventilator. More top and mid range power. I had a friends heavy breather on my bike for a couple days and felt a little power difference, so I started looking to see what I could upgrade to since the ventilator seems to be too small and far too restrictive and I’m going to do a 124 in the future. One thing I noticed too is when I start my bike up cold it revs up to about 2500 then drops back down to 1200-1400 or so till it warms up. It used to not do that. Other than that no negative issues.

So is the base of the FM unit bigger, the new filter wouldn't fit the ventilator base? K&N sells that filter by itself, was wondering if it would fit the HD base.

The K&N filter is larger & shaped differently, it does not fit the H-D Ventilator base

Sounds like an issue that could be resolved with your tuner. If you are tuning with the Power Vision, I'd give Fuel Moto a call I'm sure they'll have a solution and they're great to work with!

it drops right back down after maybe 1-2 seconds, just never did that before. It was dyno tuned so I’m not sure Jaime could help me, unless there’s something I can change in the tune myself on it. I was planning on emailing them.

My bike does that too with the Ness M8 cleaner. It's really weird. First time it did it I freaked a little. I tried everything. Even had a tuner look at it to adjust ratios in tables for me. Nada worked. I just got used to it. Please post if you figure out a solution - I'm curious.

Fuel Moto is top notch! Cleaner looks nice!

What does it use for the breather vents? Same rubber tubes as the HD ventilator?

Can we get a pic of you on the bike to see the knee clearance? What rain sock are you using?

Good question! It does look great and I'm sure it will deliver more air to your FM 124 build. I'm doing the same thing, just waiting for my head pipe.
