I don't know about you guys but I hated that aluminum / gray looking dash insert that comes with the RK. The one on the RK special looks a lot nicer even tho the dash is still chrome.

 

definitely looks much better on the black bike..mine's orange so think it might look like too much contrast rather than compliment it

 

You are probably right. I forgot there was other colors than black.

 

sure hope they don't discontinue Vivid Black for 2020..joking aside nice discovery and share..looks like a must do for the black RKs

 

That really dressed it up!! I'm thinking it would look on the other colors as well. It gives it a more "finished" look.

 

I hated how hail dented the hell out of my insert, so I put in a Covington Billet Insert

 

This was my approach. Obviously not professional, but the price was right.
