TSB is M1492 and part number is 94100065, inner primary vent kit.
I plan on doing the same today.

I have a friend that was down 20 ounces after his break in 1000 miles, his bike went in last week for the vent. He is an iron butt guy so he will get another 1000 miles pretty quick
I'll contact him today and report back. He has an 2019 road glide ultra.
All have a nice Memorial day week end .
My friend got back to me, he put on 1020 miles yesterday and no transfer. I sent him a link to this thread so maybe we will hear the account first hand. Another one fixed with just the HD primary vent install under warranty at no cost to the owner.

Saw a couple of posts on FB where the vent didn't work. Of course take that with a grain of salt because on FB you'll find a lot of idiots.

One guy was telling all the others that the Derby cover was called the Primary cover because it's on the "Primary side"... go figure.

At the dealer, he couldn't have handled it any better.
Said he documented it for me, top off the fluid.
When I bring it in for 1K service, they'll check and order the vent kit.
He said they've done 3 vent kit this week.

MoCo is treating them as an as needed basis.
They will ship one to them upon my dropping the bike off and showing signs of transfer.

He was very clear...DO NOT add fluid.
They need to be able to document it to support me.

So even though it's not being fixed today, it is being documented, this dealer is more than aware of it and did not treat it as some unknown unicorn.

Another reason I'm glad I chose this dealer and service department.

Now... Ride time.

Don't take this the wrong way LP, but why mention it here if you think it was BS...I don't think it helps to spread questionable ****...JMO...only plants a seed of doubt

Ease up buddy. I didn't say I thought it was BS. I said take what people write on FB with a grain of salt - because sometimes they're off ( and maybe there is still hope).
Just passing on what others are saying. If that somehow offends you or damages your calm, well....ok. You'll live.
