Default Let us know if your HD primary vent fix has worked or failed

With all of the primary vents being installed by HD to solve the transfer issue I would be good to know who had the vent installed.
Lots of guys seem to be using the belt and suspenders approach to fixing this problem using multiple proposed fixes out there. Doing so you can't say what actually stopped the transfer.
I'm interested in Guy/Gals that have had only the HD vent installed. Problem fixed or not fixed and how many miles?

So far 100% fix rate.
You probably should have made it a poll. That way they just have to vote, posting isn't necessary.

The H-D inner primary vent fixed my '19 Limited. At least no transfer in the last 2,000+ miles. Before the fix it would suck the trans stick dry in a tank of fuel.

how long has this vent been out? wonder if long enough to incorporate into the 2020 design / release..although I have a difficult time they would make this fix as OEM due to the appearance of it? maybe they will have implemented a more discreet venting solution

My question is why is it a sealed system that worked just fine through 2 engine designs and 2 trans upgrades all of a sudden has to be vented? Sure sounds like a band-aid approach to a hardware problem.

This thread is simple, fixed or not with vent, discussion as to why is else where. I don't want this thread to get bogged down with all things that have been discussed for a long time.

So far 100% fix rate.

You should reword this then , the problem has or has not manifested again with the vent. From a purely mechanical standpoint that isn't a " fix ".

I have 900 miles since the primary vent was installed by HD and happy to report the trans fluid is still at the full mark. Prior to the fix after 1,000 miles it was down 9 ounces.
