I’m short at 5’6” and run a 6.5” klock werks flare in dark smoke on my 18 sgs, I’m very happy with it. I always ran LRS but they sent me two shields that didn’t even close to fit my bike, or my 09 SG and couldn’t tell me why. Needed one fast because the stock one is unbearable on the highway and eBay could get me a klock werks in a couple days so that’s what I did. I don’t regret the extra cost over LRS

 

5'8" here and run a 6.5" Klock Werks on my 18 SG. Definite improvement over stock shield.

 

I went with windsplitter. Works great. Don’t like looks of the curved-forward types.
Then wife got me to get different seat. It’s a hammock and sits much higher due to sling and more padding. So got the taller windsplitter, an that works great as well.
