I ran 6 1/2" Klockwerks on my old '07 Street Glide. A bit different fairing I know, but that windshield was great! I got a 14" Klock for my '17 RGS.

I have the 5 inch KW flare in dark smoke on my 2017 SGS and love it. Here are some pictures from a recent road trip...

Niether, wait for Long Ride Shields to have a sale. I have the Ultra Wide(spring and fall) shield and the Javelin( summer) shield, i paid 110 iirc when they had their big sale of the year. If spending a ton of money on plastic from brand names like klock werks is your thing be my guest. I would wait for LRS to go on sale.

edit: Im 5'8 and i use the 8" javelin ( looks like the KW you want) not on sale they are $120

I just switch out the 7" Wind Splitter for the KW 6.5" on my SG.

I'm 5'8 and I hated the 7in wind splitter. Looked cool but it was not functional for riding and it was honestly worse than stock... I went with the 7in Freedom Shield and I have zero buffeting. Klockwerks looks like a good option though.

Wow, great ideas on shields here. I will for sure look at all of them, thanks everyone on the good replies. Im not sure if I like the wavy curved look but if it helps on the interstate and I can hear my stereo better I guess that's all that counts

I had a Freedom shield on my old SG and it was fantastic and looked great. Another vote.

I have the 6.5" KW on my '17 SGS. Great windshield. I'm about 5'7" and use a Mustang Low Down seat, it's the perfect height for me.
