Default 2019 M8 , problems Solved ??

I’ve been away from forum for awhile. Recently Sold my Limited , and I want to get something , maybe this winter. I Never had a problem with my 2017 Limited with the 114 , but heard all the troubles here . Has Harley Tweaked this Engine to Fix some of the Problems ?

Nothing has changed much since your 2017!

They are addressing the trans fluid transfer with a installed primary vent.

Sumping is still a crap shoot. My first 2019 114 sumped. It was repaired per MOCO bulletin but sumped again after 30 miles.

Are people still experiencing sumping issues on the latest Softails? I've read very few reports of sumping issues on Softails compared to the Touring bikes...

Interesting, yours is one of the few sumping Softails that I've heard about reading online. Considering the 2020 models are nearly due out, I do hope they've fixed the issue 2 years on, I guess time will tell...

Handlebar and seat choices can address the slumping issues of which you speak.

don't feel bad, there's also been reports of 'dumping' here but the MOCO has provided a fix for that problem also

I am ready to trade in my 2018 Indian Scout for a new 2020 Electra Glide Standard so this topic is important to me also.

I have bought a new Harley and done business with a big Harley dealer near me and known not only the owners but many sales and service people there too and I had a 'heart to heart' talk with them about M8 problems and they told me that the late model 2019 and 2020's have no problems like a few of the earlier models.

This will be my 4th Harley----IF I do the deal??????????????

Sam
