Default Tappet Block Leak After Cam Install?

So I just had the S&S 465c full cam chest installed by an authorized S&S dealer. IIn the process I had my chrome tappet blocks powder coated black. 'm getting an oil leak at what I think is the tappet blocks. It's hard to tell exactly where the leak is coming from as it only leaks when the bike is under full load at 50-60 mph. I don't think it's coming from the top of the push rods since when I put a rag up in there after it leaks I don't get on the rag. It didn't leak for the installer on the two test rides he did but both times I went to pick it up it leaked for me on the way home. I'm taking it back in a day or two to him as he thinks the powder coating of the tappet blocks may be preventing them from sealing properly. He already checked the o-rings and re-seated them to be sure it wasn't that. I ordered a set of genuine HD tappet blocks and gaskets that are already black so I hope this solves it. The oil is blowing all over the place when I ride but it is collecting in that little divot between the two block covers. Just wanted to get people's thoughts on if they agree or where else to look and if anyone ever experienced this before. The push rods are the S&S adjustable with S&S tappet blocks and S&S Push rod covers.

Thanks.

What your installer says about the powder coat is feasible. A small irregularity on a mating surface can be enough to defeat a gasket.

Sounds like you're saying they coated the mating surfaces? if so, that was a mistake.

If the mating surface was indeed powder coated, rather then having to have them machined true, it may be cheaper and more reliable to just buy a new set for $79 (or less). https://www.harley-davidson.com/store/tappet-covers

Will check if the mating surface was coated or not. Either way I ordered the new set and hoping that will fix the issue.
