Thanks guys. I think I might go this route. They do run sales in the winder on stage upgrades, but if I do it in the next 6 weeks, it will be rolled into the bike warranty. Going to head down there today and get a hard quote. Service manager wasn't there yesterday so they were ball parking.

RCUltra, Do it, I think you will be pleased!! I would keep the stock mufflers, they sound pretty damn good after the cam change. Also once its done, take a 12" drill bit and take out the cat. It will lower heat and you will have a noticeable rumble!! Good luck, CSM-H

I got quoted over 3K for the same set up last week, going off of memory but it was close to $3050 for the complete stage II as you were quoted. CFR double fluted slip ons, I didn't get it. Shop rate is $169 hr here though

Let us know how you make out. I'm interested in your setup too and want some ammo to take to my dealer...>; Dutchy

So the official quote is in. Here is the parts list...

29400246A Breather
41000008C Tuner
64900186B Muffs
65100019 End Caps
92500047 Cam

Parts $1489.75
Discount because I give then so much money every year $211.45
Total Parts $1198.30
Tax $116.84
Total Parts $1315.14

Labor do do the Stage 2 10 hours@ $100 = $1000
Labor to do the dyno tune 4 hours = $400
Total Labor $1400

Total Job $2715.14

One issue is that their dyno can not handle a trike so they have to transport the bike an hour one way to their other store. Another nearby dealer told me that you can not stage 2 a trike. When I asked why, they said because in can not be run on a dyno.

Is it worth it or will I see a noticeable difference doing this with non-HD parts? If aftermarket won't get me significantly better results, I'd rather hang on to the warranty.

In stock trim the heat from the cat is pretty bad. (Installing a CoolFlow fan next week) Will a cam change make it worse, better or no difference?

Thanks
I could be wrong but I think the cat has been moved to the mufflers. Is that not right?
