Two sets of Moto 692's

Okay fellas! Nothing stays in my bike more than a couple months. I have two sets of fairly new Moto 692's (6x9's) sitting on my shelf that somebody could use. I purchased both sets brand new from Arc in April. I think I paid about $400 a set. I'm letting both sets go for $400. They are great speakers I'm just moving on as usual. If nobody wants this deal I'll be happy to let them sit on my shelf with all my other speakers and amps. PM me if interested.

Thanks

I have to ask a question that I dont recall seeing before when it comes to changing out speakers as frequently as some of you guys do. How do you guys know the longevity of any of these speakers?

I am also an audio guy without the knowledge of most of you guys and one of those guys that has no intention of trying or adding new stuff. I am more than happy with my set up, BT 4180, Focal KRC 165 in fairing (thanks to Tailwind) and a set of Hertz HCX 165's in the tour pak. The Hertz, I have had these for several years on my last bike which had the BT 2180 running the fairing and lower fairing speakers which cut the watts in half so I dont know if the Hertz would last that long with getting the own channel in the outdoor environment.

This is not a sarcastic question as I am truly interested in hearing the feedback.

Walt I think it's a safe bet with most higher end gear. I put the Arc Motos in similar category to your Hertz HCX, they are reputable, well made, and expect they have s long life ahead of them.....especially considering that Arc builds these to withstand the elements and are water resistant. I personally can't think of a reason that if the gains are set correctly on the amp these would ever give out on anyone.

Thanks Haze! I was thinking about it for a while and for me, most of my riding is at 60 and up and with the volume up 60-70% for a couple hours non stop in the outdoor elements and thought I would at least so what feedback I would get in this.

Gann, I'm a little slow at times and just realized I hijacked your thread (sorry).
UltraNutz, would you mind removing my question from this forum and move it to the "audio" thread? Thanks in advance!

No these are good questions. I can tell u that Gann rode from Indiana to Miami and back so they're battle tested!
