Yes, I know that it works. I was troubleshooting some issues on my wife's bike and bought another radio. Turned out to be all wiring related.

What was the radio doing? My wife told me yesterday her radio would lose sound so she would turn it off and back on and it would work. A couple minutes later it would cut out again. If I do end up needing it we probably could meet up

 

The radio I have for sale came out of a Road Glide and was in working order. I had installed it on my wife's 2009 EG Standard which did not have a radio. The previous owner of the bike did a hack job on the wiring on the bike when he put a Sony stereo into it. I bought a second radio when I was scratching my head over loss of handle-bar controls and such. The issues all came down to crude wiring splices that were done with heat-shrink tubing but never soldered. Bottom line, the stereo worked. It might even have a CD still in the drive that I forgot about

I have heard of the issue your wife's bike is having. The control board in the radio has become intermittent. I bet flipping the speaker switch to headset and back to speaker fixes it for a moment too.
