best offer?

a local guy has 2 sets of these on his bike. A pair in the fairing and a pair in his lowers. He likes them and they sound pretty good to me sitting in the parking lot.
What amp would you use with these for a fairing only set up?

diamond 4v2
sd 400
sd 800 if you want add some lowers later

If you wanted to keep prices down, a SSpn4.1000 will run the hell out of them too. When I was still running coax speakers in my bike, those were by FAR my favorites. You need to tone the highs down just a bit with your eq on the radio but dammit they're loud and clear. Easily my favorite coax and I tried a few to be sure haha.

Glad to hear you say that slodsm. I put a basic EQ curve on my Motos in the fairing with my DSP and am pretty pleased with how hard I can push them. Sometimes I wonder if another marine grade speaker would sound better, but don't feel like spending money just to be disappointed.

they get loud and bright as others have said. If you have the ability to tone them down
with your HU then I would say they are a possibility. I wouldn’t spend the money on a DSP for a fairing only coaxial set up If no ability to tone them down with HU then there are better fairing only set ups out there. There is a thread on this somewhere.
