I got quotes for both Flo and the lizard for a 2016 Low Rider I have my eye on.

$732 from Flo.

$1185 for the lizard.

That's for one year, no H.O.G. discount, state minimum liability and $500 deductible collision & comp because I'd be financing a little over half of the purchase price.

I was in a car crash in 2016 and got cited, YMMV.

Doesn't make sense. Still can't figure why mine went up so much. No accidents, no claims in 10 years.

Oh and I just have liability. I figure if I wreck my own bike I can afford to fix it - it's paid for.
Just liability here also. $85.00 per year with Foremost.

Same here. Have had USAA insuring my Mustangs, and last time I shopped around for auto, nobody could or would come close to USAA for me. But they sent me to Progressive for my motorcycle. I had one claim with Progressive, for a stolen 2011 Wide Glide. They came through for me pretty good there. So I've continued to keep them, and I keep a pretty good coverage with low/vanishing deductables. So when I bought my SGS last week, I just added the same coverage my Wide Glide has to the SGS.

I had Progressive for 11 years . Then all of the sudden they jack my rates up. The same day they sent me an email about what a valued customer I was. My rates were higher than a friend with 2 DWI's.
Called GEICO switch over the same day back below even what I was paying. Just to say good buy to progressive I switched my cars also.

I've been insured with Lizard for past 4 years and just about moving to Florida I found out my premium jumped 2.5x higher (from Finger lakes, NY).. well, the agent said "Welcome to Florida where drivers dont know how to drive, and 1/2 of them arrn't Insured!". so, called Flo and others, and Flo was $100 higher, all yearly quotes, for clean records adult high 50's age.. I read folks recommended Foremost and noticed they might be the lowest? wrong. they came up with ridiculous quote ($1400).
so, from $351 for '14 Ultra limited in Flx, NY, same coverage quoted in FL is $870. outch!!
thoughts/suggestions? Tnx.

I also switched from Progressive to Geico after they wanted more money. It was just over half the cost with better coverage. I just hope they are good to all involved if I ever need them.

I'll be coming up on renewal as well soon. Hoping this holds true..Love my insurance through USAA, 3 newer vehicles plus the house and rates are ridiculously low.
