I am in Ontario Canada. 1995 FXD minimum liability nothing else $950 / year. That Co. has 2 trucks, my house & farm as well.

Only one Co. in the country will insure pre 1970 bikes ( Hagerty does in the US but not here) 1943 WLC $1500 / year minimum liability & nothing else.

I really question Hagerty's thinking. If I was in Arizone where I could ride almost every day of the year on my 45 they would cover it for $250 / year full coverage. Here where if we are lucky we get 2 months of good riding weather, they will not cover it at all. I have 10 cars insured with them & the rates are really reasonable.

It's a 2004 HD 1200...not a lot of value there...my bikes NADA is $13,500 and my "Gold package" full/250 insurance is $204 a year. With his bike, I'd probably pay less than $175.

I have a second bike with an NADA of $1400 and liability for that is $106/year.

A lot of variables go into what you pay:

Age
Credit Score
Home Address
Driving record
Weight of Vehicle
...and more

What you pay for insurance is some very serious science; those acuaries makes some serious coin figuring out EXACTLY how much risk each of us represents and the policy reflects that scientifically derived risk.

Yeah, it's pretty meaningless to say "what does full coverage cost". Too many factors go into it. Obviously, if you only have $10,000 liability and $10,000 property damage coverage, it's gonna be a lot less than if you have $500,000 CSL. In Louisiana, my UM coverage costs more than my liability - are you quoting with UM?
I pay about $2,500 a year with $250K/500K BI and $250K PD, with low deductible comp and collision, and UM in the same limits as BI. The biggest hunk of the premium goes toward coverage on the N1K.

In WI with American Family two bikes both with 250,000/500,000/100,000-- body and property liability, 100,000/300,000 uninsured motorist, 100,000/300,000 underinsured motorist, 10,000 medical, 500 deductible, guest passenger and additional equipment (extras)... 2015 Ultra 2003 $432.40 883 Sportster $364.30 per year... WI does not necessarily require, but suggests uninsured and underinsured coverage... this includes multiple vehicle and home discount. Clear record for over 30 years, no claims....

Progressive Gold $306 last year $342 this year. 100/300k $188 disappearing deductible, roadside assistance and 3k accessory rider. Sad thing is I just paid the $342 and they told me next years premium will be $385. I will complain.
