HELP!!! Info request on insurance
Next year me and some friends have planned to make a motorbike tour in S-E USA (NJ, MD, VA, NC, SC, AL, TN, KY, OH, PA) mid May-mid June.
We will ship our own bikes (13 pcs, Dutch license plates) from the Netherlands to New York by container. After the trip we ship our bikes back to the Netherlands.
We are trying to get a non-USA resident insurace policy for that period (mid May to mid June 2019) with insurance that meets the statutory requirements for every state in the United States as well as optional coverage for fire, theft, vandalism and collision.
Anyone in here who is able to help us out in this matter or give some guidance to an insurance agent/carrier??
Your help is much appreciated
René

Sounds fun and the state minimum insurance requirements in these states are pretty low. PA is only 15/30/5. Liability/property damge. Some states have required uninsured or under insured motorist.
I would would never ride with minimum coverage. If you got 100/300/100 liability and matching UM/UIM coveragw that would defingely cover all the states and provide adequate coverage but i have more.
Most policies in the US state they adjust up as needed if you have a loss in another to state to match the minimum financial responsibility rules in that state but not all.
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply.
Could you please be so kind to explain the coverage figures you mentioned?
Thanks,
