I think the sales person gave me wrong information. Looks like the policy was issued by Sentry Insurance Company?

HD insurance now uses Sentry to underwrite the policies. I still have the HD insurance through progressive. The new HD insurance was over $100 per year more than what I am paying now.

i just called in a claim on my insurance through Progressive, the bike got damaged while being trailered, front strap broke and caused over $2000 worth of damage as it landed on my buddies low rider. The guy came out and did a good job of assessing the damage but missed the fact that most parts on an 86 flh can't just be bought aftermarket anymore, so i need to fine tune the claim a bit and see if they will re-evaluate it before i accept their check. Ive only had Progressive about 6 months now, so i can only imagine what my premium will be going forward.

I don’t know how customer service is yet but just this morning I switched from the Progressive for USAA customers to Harley Davidson insurance. This switch dropped my rates to half the cost of what it was. The only reason I looked into it because I just bought a 2018 Street Glide a few weeks ago and the salesmen said the price is better for some and worse for others. Good thing that I did! I had the Progressive for 6 years, covering 2 motorcycles. I wonder how much I over paid.....

I just switched over after over 10 years with Geico. Cut my rate in half.

I just did a quote on the HD website- compared to my existing policy, the premium quoted was a bit higher than I'm paying now- not a whole lot more, about $40 per year or so. But considerably less expensive for me than Progressive
