It's not that $18.00 is any big deal, I have found as I get older it aggravates me that everyone is always trying to squeeze you for a little bit more. Unfortunately the cost of living increase given on Social Security doesn't cover all of the other increases we get hit with. I also just got hit with an increase on my cable bill. I just had a tire put on my bike from the local dealer and noticed it was higher than the previous tire installation. Where does it all end ?

Allstate bumped me almost 40% in 2017. I had 2 bikes, 2 cars and my home with them. I switched to progressive and got better coverage for less than my original premium before the bump. I moved my car over to them soon after but the house they couldn't complete with. Progressive is bumping the cost in fact my premium on the bikes went up $85. I have never had a claim and my credit is stellar. BRUTAL!

Just my opinion but anymore, insurance companies have morphed into investment firms, actually providing insurance is just a necessary evil and the 'excuse' to be in business.

I have Markel and they upped mine $73/year. I just called Dairyland and it's $40/year less than I'm currently paying. Looks like I'll be switching. I called Markel and she stated that it was just the trends of my area that raised my insurance, nothing on my part raised it. Michigan sucks for insurance.
