I am not sure I agree with your logic. My 04 Night Train insurance is as much as my 07 Power Wagon(paid 38K) insurance. And my Power Wagon is discounted several ways. USAA for house and cages. GMAC Insurance for bike.

My buddy told me to switch from Progressive to GMAC after his wife's bike was stolen and he got sh!ty service from Progressive. I took his advice: $540 a year. 39 yo, no accidents, no tickets (in the last three years).

USAA doesn't offer motorcycle insurance, they have been partnered with Progressive for over 20 years for bike insurance. I have USAA and Progressive and they give my my home owners discount I have with USAA

I have had USAA since 1987. They insure our two SUVs, the Harley and one of my four Kawasakis.
