Geico V. Allstate - what are your thoughts?

There's the real meat of the topic! Have had Farmers Insurance forever. The one time I had to make a claim on a totalled bike they were fantastic. Paid me MORE than I paid because it was a limited edition and the check was in my hand very quickly. When I had progressive they were putting on salvage parts in the estimate for a jeep collision, and ithe took forever. Apples and oranges here with a new bike and an old jeep, but those are two experiences I've had with a real company versus those cut rate guys

I'm sure someone could tell an opposing story though too...

Calif may be different, but like anything else you get what you pay for. Sons friend just got hit a couple months ago, and geico is dicking him around. Ive had cheap plans in the past and luckily never made a claim, thats where youre going to find out how good your company is.
I dont understand saving $400, If I got that discount Id be paying less than $200 a year for my CVO? And this isnt the sixtys anymore lol

my wife deals with insurance companies as part of her job. she sais Geico is the very worst out of all of them for her to deal with.
