I used it for years when I lived in NJ. Never had any complaints back then. Proce was always low, had the option to drop coverage during the NJ weather with no penalty. Worked out well.

Thank you Skullhead.....I was just wondering as their price was so much lower than the others for the same coverage.

I checked them out. One thing you have to watch is the dedictible, they have a 500.00 ded. and there is no changing it. They were 200.00 bucks cheaper than what I have now but my ded. I have now is only 63 bucks. I have what they call a disapearing ded. the longer you go without an incident the less it gets. Eventually to 0.00 I figure for the 200 dollar difference in cost the ded. makes up for it so I stayed where I was at.

I've had them for 14 years now. Only company that was willing to insure an under 21 yr old with a sport bike for less then an arm and a leg. Never had a problem with them (but never filed a claim). I did some comparison shopping last month and the only company that cam close in price was Progressive.

I've been using Rider ever since the 1970's. Very reasonable premiums, but I have never had the need to file a claim. I was hoping somebody else here did and could tell us about it.
Anybody?

I just signed up with Rider last month here in PA.

They were several hundred dollars cheaper to insure three Harley's than American Modern Home, who I have had since 2003.

Since I can only ride one bike at a time, it did not make sense to pay out the butt,

One problem was in the initial sign up over the phone. I charged my credit card for the entire years premium. I received a letter a couple of weeks later from Rider and it stated that I had not paid for the quoted coverage so I had no insurance.

A couple of phone calls later to Rider it was discovered that my card had paid the amount due, but Rider did not show it on my account. The problem was eventually rectified.

Not a good start,

I've used Rider Insurance for maybe 20 years now. National General was the underwriter then it became GMAC Insurance. I had one claim, years ago. I hit a patch of sand in a corner and high sided. They covered all damage including my helmet and I've been with them ever since. Their liability limits are kinda low, at least in WV.
