Default What's a reasonable yearly insurance rate?

2004 HD 1200 with full comp and collision and a $250 deductible (Geico) is running me $175 a year. Seems decent, but is that about what others are paying?

Yeah...me too! But I've price shopped. Don't understand how people are getting some of these rates.

2008 Heritage Anniversary. Full coverage. $500 deductible. Geico is $501.00/ year. Had a speeding ticket last year

I think I need to call bullshit on the guy paying 175 a year for full coverage AND only a 250 deductible.

I'm $136/year full coverage GEICO in Alaska. I think they realize that the riding season is less than half the year.

Without knowing the levels of coverage, cost comparisons between individuals mean nothing.
What are your liability limits? 10K? 50K? 100K? 500K?
Are you purchasing uninsured or under insured motorist coverage, medical or personal injury protection, and at what limits?
And of course collision and comprehensive, at what deductible? Zero? 100? 500? 1000?

And that's just the beginning, your gender, age, zip code, credit rating, and driving record are all used to calculate premiums.

I pay about $180 per year (Geico) for the policy on the Limited.

I have 100/300 liability, under and uninsured motorist
Comp and coll w\$1000 deductible
Minor amount of pip
No towing coverage

Your premiums will certainly vary
