Default Who do you have for insurance?

I just picked up another bike, and decided it was time to shop around on my insurance options.

Currently, I have coverage through State Farm, and they've been fair to me. I like the small town feel of them. I call, and they know who I am.

I also checked out Progressive and Geico. Progressive was fairly comparable to my State Farm rates. But Geico...Holy cow...they were about $350-$400 less for a full year premium.

My record is good, no major blems. I'm curious to see who all you guys use for insurance. I hope that I never have to use it, but I would like to know I have a reputable company watching my back. After all, that's what I'm paying them for.

Begin discussion now!

I have Rider. Don't know if they write policies in your state but they have been fair and cheap for me. And they have free roadside assistance.

Geico here as well. They were even cheaper than my current policy that includes my cars and home. Havent had to use them....knock on wood. But I have had heard mostly good and some bad things. They have a lot of customers so there is bound to be bad experiences with the good

Progressive for my bike. To be honest, I pay a bit more probably because I go through an agent here in town. But, whenever I have any problem or question, I call her at her office or on her cell phone and she does all the work and calls me back. Sometimes it is worth paying a bit more for access to a human being that knows you instead of some dude at the other end of an 800 number.

I've had Progressive for about 10 years now. No accidents or claims and the rates are fair.

I have had Progressive for a while, but finally got fed up with them raising my rate after another year of no claims. I went with Geico, and saved $250,and my coverage is twice as much as it was with Progressive.
