I just found out that ohlins is making nix 22 cartridges for 39mm forks, and they are listed as avilable for the short travel (ca. 100cm) versions: nighster, iron, 48.

But given that the travel is set by the lengh of the lower rod: could they be set to accomodate long travel versions, like the 883? Those extra 4cm come in handy in ugly pavement.

I wonder about that becuse I have an Iron 883 14’ with ABS, and I swapped the inner rods for some 883r ones to extend the fork travel and ran ricor intiminators. But Id like the adjustbility provided by ohlins without reducing the suspension travel.
