For sale is a 1997 Harley Electra Glide Police Edition (FLHTPI) with an obvious Road King front end swap. The bike has been almost totally redone over the last 2 years and I am selling it only to start a new project. I know a good bit of guys on this forum probably followed my build. I have had many threads about it since I began. The bottom end of the motor and transmission have 49,xxx miles. The rest of the bike since the rebuild has about 5,xxx miles. The speedometer does not read said mileage because it is aftermarket, but I was sure to install the aftermarket one at almost exactly 48,000 miles so I could keep track. Currently it reads 1,xxx miles. This bike has been to Illinois and back in 3 days and on many long trips. It has never let me down once. For an 18 year old bike it runs like new and it is probably the best all-around bike to ride I've owned thus far. I routinely changed all 3 fluids every 2500-3000 miles and am overly obsessive about maintenance. I use AMSoil in the motor and primary, and Redline Shockproof Heavy in the transmission. The motor pulls hard and smooth, but I am not a racer. Rarely does it see more than 4000 RPM. I've won several bike shows, have been in a magazine write-up, and always get people asking me about it. I want to make sure it goes to a good home with an owner that will care about it as much as I do. It has been garage kept 100% of the time through my ownership and it has never been laid over. The Few Negatives:

Shifter shaft seal has VERY small weep on primary side. The inner primary collects a drop of oil worth wiping underneath after roughly 500 miles due to this.
