For Sale - 1991 FXRS $4,500 OBO (Fort Meade, Md)
Up for sale is a 1991 Harley Davidson FXRS. Bike runs great and was recently overhauled to make it road worthy.
Remanufactured Engine - 3K on engine - performed at HD Frederick
10K service performed
brand new rear brake rotor
New Harley Davidson Battery
Aftermarket Handlebars with internal wiring
Brand new Dunlop American Elite (Front/Rear) tires
Mikuni HSR42 Carb
Python Exhaust
There is one known issue with the bike that was found on the way to Annapolis Harley. The tach/speedometer/turn signals stopped working. Believed to be a connector block in the headlight bucket that needs to be addressed. Other than that, the bike is in perfect working order.
I have receipts of the service work that was performed last month and the receipts of work performed at Frederick Harley Davidson.
Only reason I'm selling is that even though this bike is low, it's still not short enough for my wife to ride. Now looking into a Sportster. If you have a 2003 or so Sportster and may be interested in trading, shoot me an email.
No low-ball offers please. I do not have to sell the bike due to any hardship, but want my wife to ride now that she's passed the MSF course.

Well i traced all wires.. All new wires were ran from controls to headlight bucket.. Found that the main connector that connects the tach/speedo/signals to the bucket has a broken clip and the pins inside don't seem to be closed enough to connect. Of course I'm never troubleshoot the electrical side. I want to get it fixed, but my wife would feel more comfortable on a smaller bike like a sportster. Selling it, I'd come out about even after all the work lol.
