He’s still got it! Anyone with some decent mechanical skills could get this thing going pretty easily.

He finally got it running. Of all things, it was a loose battery cable.

I've got a friend who's not on the forum who's considering selling his 85 FXEF. Unfortunately he doesn't know much about its history motor wise. Forks are rebuilt and new steering locks. It previously didn't have them. He put in a new battery, chrome dash, oil tank and lines. The motor doesn't seem like it's stock. It's somewhat lumpy cam wise. It has led turn signals, dual headlamp, cast chrome wheels, tires are good, rigid mount sissy bar, aftermarket chrome controls, Vance and Hines staggered long shots, dual disc front, S&S air cleaner, six speed trans, Rivera Primo open drive belt. It is far from stock. 15028 miles as of right now.



From what I gather it is a somewhat unique year. It's basically a Shovelhead frame with an Evo motor. What's the market for something like this? What's the best place to post for sale to reach the right audience?
