American Ironhorse Chopper

people on this forum seem to like to put their valuation on other peoples posts in the classified section, even when the are not interested buyers.
I see it all the time, and wonder why people feel the need to post when they are not even considering the item for sale.
I've seen what some of them go for, and I understand there will sometimes be desperate sellers.

as a possible buyer & also a seller I appreciate seeing what they're selling for in other parts of the country I see these bikes selling for less than what people want for them So yes you can sit on it and wait and see if the market goes back up on American Iron Horse Choppers or sit and watch your bike loose even more value or stabilize and while others sell, Same problem we all have. Bikes like mine are selling for half what I think it's worth but I'm not in a big hurry to sell either for less or the same as a stock bike, I wanted to sell my custom built Softail so I can buy an American Iron Horse Chopper like yours but based on what I see lt will be hard to get what I want for mine and then search to buy a AIHC Fewer people want his styles bike as it seems most buyers are going for Baggers or new M8 right now IMO Good Luck

I'm not really a motivated seller.
I have the opposite problem most people have - my wife wants me to keep it, and says she'll be unhappy if I sell it.
I have 4 bikes, a shovel, evo, twin cam, and the chopper. She enjoys riding on all of them. I just sometimes think about having more room, and maybe a new project.
Truth be told, I'd probably miss it myself, it's pretty cool to take out once in a while.

Sometimes interested buyers become uninterested... when they see a price that does not reflect the current market.

yeah, you're probably right.
I bought a 98 Camaro SS brand new, fully loaded. Did a bunch of high quality suspension mods, intake, exhaust, custom wheels/tires. Still in brand new condition inside and out, I gave it to my brother a couple of years ago, just because I hardly ever took it out of the garage. He babies it now, but drives it occasionally. I wish I still had it. He's offered to give it back to me, but I would feel like a cheapskate taking it back.
