G'day all looking at a EVO for sale all the numbers check out BUT on the engine # it has BKLJ123456 stamped . But on the rego papers it BKL123456 on there no J. Could it be a mistake on RTA side ?There is a J=1988 in the vin !! just putting it out there ???

1. yes the vin has 17 letters &numbers it is a 1988 model but its the extra letter J that im suspect about.cheers

G'day 14GuineaPig yes I got all that info off the net .Im just concerned about the extra letter that is on the engine .on rego papers it has #BKL123456 but on the engine it has #BKLJ123456 so the J is the worry..Thanks
