not sure how many were made in 2001 but i believe about 500 - didnt handle as good as i dyna should untill i put in the air shocks and change the for oil now it rides nice - cant help but think the price will start to go up at some point as most people who got these bikes stripped them down and then customized- its kind of like an old school switchback i used to go out riding with the big touring bikesand never felt small, they guys i go riding with think its wild looking - one of they guys said it looks like an orange county chopper bike lol - it gets alot of attention and double takes as most people havent seen one before funny thing is i thought it would blow off as soon as i put it out on cl -for a lil more than a sportster a person could go full size- u know ? nothing against the newer bikes i love them ...but...(lol) the ignition switch feels diff than the new ones makes a big thunk noise when i turn it - the thing shifts like a harley should makes a nice clunk noise ....my buds road king ? doesnt shift with authority like mine ...im just saying
