Wards Fans

How are the Wards fans working out for you?
Do you have them set up to work automatically on a thermal switch or do you have to turn them on manually?
I've got a Lenale fan. I believe the Lenale puts out quite a bit more CFM but most of it is directed between the cylinders. The Wards fans are more focused where the heat is.
