Can't help you with your specific question, but, ever been to Estes Park, CO? 87 miles from Denver. Absolutely beautiful! Adjoins Rocky Mountain National Park where you can drive/ride right over the tops of the mountains. Such a pretty, relaxing, laid back area.

 

Thunder Mountain usually puts on a good show.

 

I can't wait. Unfortunately I had to pull my battery and won't be riding for the near future. But the minute I can ride I will.

 

Flights booked.

Starting of the week in Scotland with a rally called "THUNDER IN THE GLENS", then flying over to Milwaukee for a HD Museum visit, before flying down to Denver for the "THUNDER IN THE MOUNTAINS" party.

Then its a couple of weeks vacation traveling over the mountains and into the deserts and Canyonlands beyond.

Hi Dave down in South Wales, was in Denver last September, Thunder mountain Harley is a good place, rode down to southern tip of Texas and back to Denver, flying in again beginning of August, Sturgis for a few days and then up to Montana/Canada, have friends in Denver(Fort Collins) we hook up with them, met them a few years ago on a motorcycle trip in Aus, great friends now, have fun, ride safe and enjoy.
