I'm planning a trip in July and wonder if anyone can give me any recommendations for lodging in, or around, Jackson, Wyoming for a couple of nights. Something halfway reasonable and I would prefer some place where the door to the room opens to the outside so you can park the bike right out the door. Thanks.

 

Try the Anvil motel in Jackson, basic rooms and fair prices ($82). I used travelnow.com to reseve my room there for late June.

 

I can't remember the name of it but about 2 blocks down from the million dollar cowboy bar is a motel with real cozy log cabin rooms for about 75 bucks and you can park right in front of your cabin .as you walk out of the cowboy bar its down to the left on the opposite side of the street. I believe its the anvil motel as jonpaul said

I've looked on various Jackson, WY sites and the only cabins in the area of the Cowboy Bar is the Cowboy Village. Does that sound like the one? But the rates aren't $75, they are about double that in the summer. Priced right up there with them all. I do have reservations at the 49er Inn & Suites, rate is $139 a night for a double. Thanks for the help.
