It is a huge event, usually can get good deals and save some cash.

 

Yeah, I'll be there sometime Sat AM. I go every year, and usually don't buy much of anything. This year I have a list.

Be carefull if you ride. This is where my bike was stolen from.

The following week end is the car swap. If you need anything for any kind of Chevy, you'll find it here. I bet you could build a whole car from parts purchased here. Other brands are not as common, you have to search for that stuff.

 

Since I live in the mountains a bit and got a about 14 inches of snow yesterday I don't think I will be taking the bike. Sorry to hear your bike was stolen...that is just bulls%$t

 

I went last year and got a sweet leather jacket for $100. I'll be lookin for a derby cover and some boots and some stuff for the g/f and kids.

 

I went this morning. I like to get in early and get gone before the crowds are too bad. People walk worse than they drive around here.

Found a few parts I needed. I had a long list and was surprised at what I didn't find. Saved a few bux, but not much by the time you add in fuel, parking, and admission. Admission was higher this year, BTW.

We noticed that there were fewer parts sellers, fewer new bike dealers, and more crafty stuff (jewelry, patches, etc) than in previous years.

The car swap is next week end. I probably won't go to that. I don't need enough parts to justify the expense.
