I went two years, I think 2012 and 2013. It's ok. Something to do. Plenty of Hotels to stay at. Plenty of cops but they leave you alone as long as your not being an idiot. Public transportation if you want to leave bike at hotel. I left from northeast NJ and took the parkway to cape may ferry.

This is my 4th year going. We used to do Wildwood but got tired of all the crap that goes on there ( if you have been to bike week there you know what I am talking about)
Riding down on Wed with a few friends and meeting others there...Make sure you hit Hoopers crab house right on the Bay on Rt 50 They have vendors there also
You should also take a ride to assateague island
It is the only place on this side of the Mississippi that has wild horses. they roam all over the Island ..it is really cool.
They have great bands at the Inlet and also check out all the Vendor areas....
This bike week makes Wildwood look like a local bike night at a bar
you should also check out the 2 web sites

This is a great event with things going on at several locations. Go out to Winter Park Place on Thursday to see the vendors before the crowds roll in for the weekend. Thursday afternoon at M.R. Ducks for Classic rock band Tranfuzion and then an amazing Skynyrd Tribute band at Seacrets at 10:00. Fish Tales bar is always a good spot. A one hour ride south down to Chincoteague for lunch and a pass through Assateaque on the way back to see the wild ponies is a nice time. Many, many other things going on.
