Leaving Chicago Wed. @7am, arriving Buffalo around 8pm. Leaving Buffalo 7am for a scheduled hotel check in around 3pm

Hopefully the weather will be a little better then I had going and coming to Washington DC the last 5 days. Rained 50% - at least it stayed dry for the start of the parade. We were in the first 100 riders to leave the Pentagon lot.

Can't wait for Ottawa.

Has anyone gotten an email from the organizers yet?

I'm asking as their website says they'll be emailing early June for such things as t-shirts.

I haven't...just wondering

Me too. What do you think of the t-shirts??

What the F%$#@ were they thinking??? Those are the worst/boring/ugly rally t-shirts I've ever seen in my entire life. I wouldn't pay $5 for one.....matter of fact I wouldn't even accept a free one. Very Very disappointed. I hope the rally is put together better than the t-shirts.

Not crazy about them, probably designed by some poor soul in a remote fishing village in Bangladesh, following our Gov'ts tradition of not buying Cdn souvenirs that are made in Canada;but I'll still buy one.

Should have been a big bold maple leaf on there being Canada's 150th birthday as well as HD's 100 anniversary in Canada.

Even if the rally becomes a screw up, Ottawa and surrounding areas are great places to visit and ride. Make sure you enjoy some Cdn traditional foods, like Montreal Smoked Meat, Poutine, Beaver Tails and the many fine micro brewers that populate the province.

I stay away from the big brewers, they're all owner by foreign countries now.

I agree. Maple Leaf/polar bear/moose/beaver - ANYTHING.
Doesn't say anything about Harley or Canada or HOG - NOTHING.
I definitely will not buy one. I have a feeling they are going to get stuck with a lot of t-shirts. Sad
Maybe I'll buy a dealer t-shirt - if it has a Mountie or a polar bear or a moose or a beaver on it. Definitely at least a maple leaf.

I usually attend the annual Ontario HOG rally.

Definitely will be chowing down on Poutine. Tried that a few years back and loved it, buy doctor doesn't. There are a couple places in the Chicago area that serve it. One is my favorite pub 40 miles west of Chicago(thank you lord).

Never tried Beaver Tails - ?

Micro brews are definitely on the menu.

Found a whole bunch of parking options. Found out it's free parking on weekends and 1/2 price parking for motorcycles all the time - at least acco9rding to the City of Ottawa website. Can someone verify that??

Correction - I just saw the HOG symbol and the maple leaf on the sleeves. Too small.

Can't help with Ottawa questions, I haven't been there in 20 yrs.

Beaver tails.....it's deep fried, similar to a donut only flattened, covered with your choice of toppings, i.e. cinnamon sugar, chocolate, you name it......Doctor won't like that either...lol
