I was told that there is a pin for rally registrants only.

 

Yes there is that, but Harley also has so called "Pin Stops" at various events where you can receive a "FREE" special pin commemorating that event....plus you get a point on your ABC's Of Touring contest. I was just wondering if this rally will have one or not.

As to the HOG rally event pin, it use to be included in the rally package FREE, but I think I read somewhere that if you want a pin for this rally, you have to pay for it. You also use to get a free t-shirt too. Harley is getting cheaper by the year.

I hear ya, i think the only pin stop in Canada is the www.wharfratrally.com/ out on the east coast.

I know the shirt is not included in the price...But the pin is :-)

I know they are calling for rain thursday in Ottawa.

Leaving Chicago tomorrow morning, staying overnight in Buffalo. No rain is forecast for the ride.

If Canada rains on me when I get there, I do have a rain suit and an umbrella.

Last time it rained on me at a HOG rally was at the 2005 National HOG rally in Saskatoon plus it was in the low 30* f. Worst trip I ever had. Hopefully this one will turn that around.

Weather looks fantastic although we may hit a thunderstorm north. I am leaving around 6 so I'll be looking for ya!
