Got home last night after spending a week in Ottawa.
Hats off to the organizers and HOG Ottawa Chapter, it ran very smoothly considering the road blocks thrown at them, i.e. La Machine which took away the police escort as they needed the crowd control more, 750,000 watched La Machine over the 3 days, including me.
Food was fantastic, and so was the entertainment. Nice surprise having Willie G, Nancy and Karen attend and do autographs; I got my vest signed by all three.
Made some new friends, road some nice roads and managed to find time for the occasional beer.....lol
thanks again

Had a great time. La Machine was unbelievable, but really screwed up traveling in the city. I took the buss since my water pump gave out. Neither dealer had one - finally found a dealer with one in Niagara Falls on the way home. Clutch wouldn't work when it got hot so that was a big problem for me. A tech at Freedom gave me a tip on how to temporarily fix that if it happens in the middle of nowhere. Got me home to Chicago OK.
One thing I didn't get to do was try a "Beaver Tail". Maybe next time.
Digger, do you have a head count yet? Looked like a great turnout compared to other rally's I've been to up there.

Did you get the Dealer Prep Statement...."First time I heard of that happening!" ?
My pump went in Campbelton New Brunswick, I road it 225 Kms to Rimouski Quebec to get it replaced. Never hurt the motor as far as I can tell. No clutch issue but for me it was mostly highway riding with minimal shifting.
My wife reminded me on the way home we forgot to get a Beaver Tail. Apparently they have a Kiosk on the riverfront trail near where we saw La Machine......next yr.
Does anyone know the Facebook page to find all the photos?
thanks
