Has anyone been to the Nat'l Canadian HOG Rally, we're going in 2017 w/ some friends, I heard that is supposed to be a blast this year in Ottawa.
It's Canada's 150 yr anniversary.
Hey bassnman, I'm with the HOG chapter in Ottawa (www.ottawahog.com) I'm sure you will have a blast. Great city and fantastic scenery. It's going to be a great Party.

Well Digger I hope your rally is better organized than the clusterf**k we attended in Kingston in 2014.
It was the most disorganized event we have ever been part of. Thus the reason we have never been back. Luckily we had cheap lodging as my brother ( a HOG member also) lives right in Kingston.

You guys might be talking about two different rallies. Pretty sure the rally in Ottawa for 2017 is the Ontario Regional HOG Rally. They announced that while I was in Sudbury this year. That is more comparable to a US Regional Rally - replacing the State rallies next year. I don't think the Canadian or US National rallies have been posted yet. That said, Ottawa is a cool area. Good riding around there. Capitol buildings to look at and the canal for a restful afternoon. Plus you've got Hull across the river.

And dont forget the Gatineau Parkway to get to the Champlain lookout. Also you can still have a blast in the city of Hull (now Gatineau) many pubs, even if its old days as Little Chicago are over with a long time ago.

I'll look and see if there is a map for Gatineau as they do have a beautiful area as well.
