Camping for daytona bike week
I'm tossing around the idea of pulling down a bike trailer and pitching a tent for the week. Probably get a truck tent. Looking for a place that accommodates a motorcycle. Not a fan of tracking thru mud & sand. Lol... I'd prefer something private vs all stacked up.
I've did some searching on the web. But experience would help
Help a brother out with one, two or three good prospects.
Thank you so much.......

Ride down US 1 to Titusville its about 50 miles south of daytona. There are plenty of abandoned houses there, just homestead yourself for the week. Or go to canaveral national seashore, its a naked beach. Camp there but dont sleep on your stomach!
Go to a marina and just take up residence in one of the many drydocked boats that the yanks have abandoned...
If ya just gotta be in daytona, take 192 west outa town, there is a flea mkt just the other side of interstate 95, pitch a tent there...
While there, wherever you stay, you must go to Orange city and visit a place called Dales Ales.

Sorry for trying to help. You did'nt say you wanted to camp at the Hilton. You want me to give you directions there?
All BS aside. Titusville took a hit when they shut down the space program, lotsa idle property, but if its too beneath you good luck....
You were talking about sleeping in a tent right?
Upon reflection, Canaveral Natl seashore sounds about right for you.
Ah, the flea market is used as a campgroud during rally's, but the underbelly might be a bit much for you primadonna.
Stay away from Dales Ales, You will get your jaw broke honey.

I love camping. It's cheap yet memorable. This week I am considering taking a cross country tour in the next 2-3 years, after some experience. In the meantime, I'm thinking about some weekend (first) and week long (later) camping trips, possibly starting with a short trip sometime this summer, so I'm observing some camping sites. Keep you posted on my experience soon!
