Default Camping for daytona bike week

I'm tossing around the idea of pulling down a bike trailer and pitching a tent for the week. Probably get a truck tent. Looking for a place that accommodates a motorcycle. Not a fan of tracking thru mud & sand. Lol... I'd prefer something private vs all stacked up.

I've did some searching on the web. But experience is needed

Help a brother out with one, two or three good prospects.

Thank you so much.......

OP, I'm sorry but I have nothing constructive to add. Are you really pitching a tent for a week? Sorry, the 8th grader in me couldn't help but ask.

Lol! Good question.....well no. I've stayed on A1A every time down there. Want to try something different. Want a place more flexible cost wise, so I can have a place to stash a truck & trailer while a make a run to the keys (if available)

It's been hard for me to buy an eight night package somewhere in Daytona, then leave to head to keys and spend whatever a night down there while still paying for a place in Daytona.

Have a better idea? Let me know.

I can't remember the name but there is a regular RV type campground along A1A a few miles south of Daytona. Searching Google maps should bring it up. I've had friends go down without reservations even and get a spot there during Biketoberfest. I personally enjoy Cackleberry but it does get muddy when it rains. I'm trying to find the one I'm talking about. ETA Fastlane Campground.

Here is one option, Cacklebery Campground. I've never camped there......didn't realize this campground was mentioned in the post above.

Appreciate all opinions & options.

I've left a truck & trailer by the airport probably closer to speedway. Also noticed peeps staying there. But didn't see a shower or anything. I forget there name. Let me see.....

Ok....so this is viable....

Crazyhorse

Camping $14.50pr day. Clean shower available
Add $10. For trailer.

So $25.00 gets me a place. Not bad! Need something to compare. So still need help.

That number was from their website. Probably not adjusted for bike week.
