sturgis

I just decided to attend the sturgis rally. (work just approved vacation) The only other time I attended was in 2015 and I stayed at Days End campground. The campground was very clean but also very tame. How would Glencoe and Buffalo Chip compare? I would like a little more action at the campground but dont want to live in a dump for the week.

Don't know about the chip. At Glencoe the last time I was there, the party lasted till 3 or 4 the next morning. Bring ear plugs and have fun.

I am not to worried about the noise. I just do not want to live in a dump.

Both are good, Glencoe offers shade. Chip has concerts if you're into that. If the concerts don't matter to you, go Glencoe, you'll save some $$ there too

The Chip is a lot of fun, but you'll spend about $100 more than Glencoe to stay there.

Great facilities, clean showers (pay $7 and use those vendor-provided showers. They're awesome), awesomeness concerts every year, and the party goes on every night until it's time to get up again.

Both are great. Like others have mentioned, BC has more concerts. Glencoe not so much, but they have the alley, and it will go till 3-4 in the morning. Now, if cleanliness is an issue, then pay the extra for private showers and your own porta pottie. BC is more crowded and seems to be a younger crowd. It really depends on what you're looking for in the Sturgis experience. You'll have a blast at either one.

The guy with the old time 24/7 hand crank fire engine siren is what turned me off about Glencoe. 4 years in a row of that shit was enough.
