I have made that ride a couple of times following Sturgis. It usually takes me all day to get to Cody. It takes an hour to get to the park from Cody and then another hour to get to the bottom loop. It is beautiful riding getting to the park entrance.

Sorry I have not been around much this year but a lot has changed for us. Wife and I retired this April and have moved to AZ. Bought this house last August right after we got home from Glencoe and have spent the Winter and Spring remodeling it. Moved in April and have been building patios, awnings, car port, driveways and a 30 by 45 metal building to keep the toys in. I'll still have a Tuffshed and some landscape work to do after the rally this year.

BUT

We are loading the RV today and leaving early tomorrow morning for Glencoe!!! Yep, plan to get there late Sunday night or Monday morning. We'll be in same RV and blue RZR so keep an eye out for us. Can't wait to see old friends again and make new ones too!!!!

Hitting the road Thursday night after work. Google maps says its a 17 hour drive. Going to do 6-7 hours Thursday night and hopefully the rest on Friday.....hoping to be there friday late afternoon.

According to the receipt, we are on F29. Looks like they aren't pull through sites, so will have some work ahead of me when I get there because we are pulling the 5th wheel with my cargo trailer behind (double-tow). At least we are a ways away from pervert road so I won't be holding up traffic at all while we get situated.

Gonna stock up on beer, but am also bringing 6 gallons of 151 apple pie! Stop by and say hi, or look for the Maroon golf cart running around! Looking forward to having some fun and trading lies....I mean stories!

 

I just might have to find that apple pie ^^
