My 1st Daytona Bike Week 2014
What's Up? I booked my Campground for the first 5 days of Bike Week at the KOA Daytona Beach. I have done the Leesburg Bike fest last year. But this will be my 1st Daytona Bike Week. I have a few things that are on the menu including the "LOOP" and some events at the Speedway. Anybody have the skinny on what else is "Must Do" our 'Must See' what I should Checkout?
If anyone is interested in Hooking up Holla..

I always like the ride-in bike show at ******* tropical tattoo on US1 in Ormond. It's Thursday. Found a really cool ride called the Ruff Ride that benefits the Halifax Humane society. Missed this Spring because it was Thursday and I was stuck in Kissimmee until Friday, but was a poker run ending at the Iron Horse with a decent BBQ dinner, a shirt and a few other goodies for 15 or 20. Good group of folks when I've gone.

******* Tropical Tattoo Bike Show is a must. Old skool and garage builds at their best.
If you are into bike racing, hit the speedway, or the flat track races at the speedway in the evenings.
Boot Hill Saloon and Iron Horse are required.
People will chime in and say Destination Daytona, but it embodies everything I hate about what bike week is becoming.
Cabbage Patch isn't what it used to be. I don't attend anymore.
A1A north and south with stops for refreshments is a good time.
Main Street parade has to be done at least once.
Sitting on your parked bike or in a bar watching it is more fun.
I'm sure more will come to me.

Purchase tickets for race at the speedway.
Ride to Ponce Inlet for a meal.
A ride along the coast to St. Augustine to walk the fort.
If you get on the speedway email list they sometimes have a pre-registered event that allows you to obtain a package ticket for a t-shirt and a moderate speed ride on the track.
It is usually a one night only situation and requires pre-purchase, I have never been able to make it because of the date/time.
The other stuff has been mentioned.
Do not speed, rev, pop a wheelie, make too much of an exhaust racket or have blue /green LED lights on your bike while in Daytona shores or Ormond beach area.
Open containers laws are enforced near bars in some areas.
Make sure to make a complete stop at stop signs on the way to Ponce inlet.
DUI is aggressively enforced, especially near camp sites, beach condo's and homes.
