How do I reset a locked security on my 2004 Springer Softail? Lost key fob and pin.
Went on vacation and enabled security system to my 2004 Springer Softail. Something I never do. When I got back I went for a ride on my custom chopper putting my keys in my jacket pocket and didn't zip it up. Needless to say 30 plus miles later, no keys.
It had a push button fob. I bought a new fob and key from the dealer, but I do not know my pin number and I never reset it when I bought the bike new.
Is there a way to manually reset my pin number? I took the bike to the dealer and put it on their computer. They could not retrieve the Pin number and said that the TSSM needed to be replaced.
A friend of mine bought and installed a TSM and eliminated his TSSM. His bike was a later model and had the nonbotton type 07 and later fob.
Hope someone can help.
