New from Colorado
Greetings everyone,
I am glad to be a part of such a knowledgeable and helpful forum. I have ridden most of my life and have had a lot of different bikes but just got my first Harley several weeks ago. Its an 08 Fat Bob with 9k miles, and I really like it. I now understand what the draw is.
I'm looking forward to making this bike mine, planning on a few mods including currently adding a MS batwing to lessen the effects of the cold Colorado winter days since I ride year round. Already installed heated grips and need to relocate my front turn signals. I would love to hear from others what mods are recommended, not looking to go too wild but some improved performance and comfort for longer rides with the OL are my interests.
I see progressive rear shocks are a common upgrade, my last bike, an R1200gs had a set of ohlins and it glided over the roughest roads. I don't think the progressives are even close to a ride like that.
I have been spending a lot of time in the forums here already, learning a lot and getting ideas, and have a lot to take in still. Looking forward to it.
